I am an Assistant Professor of Sport Analytics at Syracuse University.
My research interests focus on the intersection of politics and sports, the financial impact of collegiate athletic programs on universities, and current issues in the WNBA and the NFL.
I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and Auburn, Alabama. I received a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University, and a PhD in Economics from West Virginia University.
I currently live in Syracuse, New York with my husband, Alex, and our dog, Nelson. We frequent local breweries and spend as much time outside as possible. I’m an avid sports fan: Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Storm, and Milwaukee Bucks (in that order). In my free time I like to cook, restore antique furniture, and watch reality TV.
